Big Game from Tunstall As Field Kindley Fell 13-6
Starting off the list is Field Kindley's Aaron Tunstall, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Tunstall rushed for 192 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Unfortunately for Labette County, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Tunstall. When Tunstall last faced the Grizzlies back in October of 2023, he rushed for 262 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.6 yards per carry.

Pittsburg had to settle for second on Friday, but Conner Proffitt sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the loss, Proffitt was still balling out as he picked up 101 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 35 yards. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 73 yards.
For the year, Proffitt has averaged 24.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 11 receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 36 receiving yards.

Jackson Came Up Big in Labette County's 13-6 Win
Jamaal Jackson was a major factor in Labette County's victory over Field Kindley on Friday. Jackson turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 175 yards and a touchdown.
Field Kindley's probably not too fond of Jackson given he always seems to get the better of them. Jackson rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries the last time he and the Golden Tornado duked it out back in October of 2023.
