After a string of three wins, the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 61-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tattnall Square Academy. Central Fellowship Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Tattnall Square Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Several Lancers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carl Williams, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Emory, who scored 12 points along with 6 assists and 3 steals.
Central Fellowship Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Tattnall Square Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Piedmont Academy the next time they take the court. Central Fellowship Christian Academy will host Piedmont Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Tattnall Square Academy will head out to face them at 2:00 p.m. on December 15th.
