The Lubbock T Titans can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy 45-20. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Lubbock T just coasted through the last quarter.
Isaac Kelly was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Kelly is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last three games he's played. Britt Morris also helped with two touchdowns in total.
Lubbock T's victory bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Lubbock T will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Fort Worth THESA at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Fort Worth THESA focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Friday. As for Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Wilson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wilson will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
