Union City lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Gleason, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's contest. The Golden Tornadoes never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Golden Tornadoes, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

Union City pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Gleason, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Union City has already played their next matchup (against Gibson County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Gleason, they will challenge Greenfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
