Even though the Catoosa Indians have not done well against the Webster Warriors recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Catoosa simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Webster 81-36 at home. For Catoosa, this counts as revenge for the 75-64 defeat Webster walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2018.
Despite the defeat, Webster saw an underclassman step up: Terrance Franklin scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds. Jakob Davis was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Catoosa's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Webster, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Catoosa will face off against Miami at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Webster, they will square off against Mingo Valley Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Mingo Valley Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday.
