The MacArthur Brahmas will take on the Southwest Dragons at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with MacArthur sitting on four straight wins and Southwest on three.
MacArthur's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over McCollum. Considering the Brahmas have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Wyatt Stevens looked comfortable as he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Sebastian Laboy-Rodriguez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Longhurst, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Southwest not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 7, 2024. Everything went their way against South San Antonio as they made off with an 11-0 victory. Southwest's win was all the more impressive since the Bobcats were averaging only 3.5 runs allowed on the season.
Romeo Castillo was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Raul Zuniga was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.
Southwest always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
MacArthur's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Southwest, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4-1.
MacArthur came up short against Southwest when the teams last played back in March, falling 4-1. Will the Brahmas have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
