Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Dupree beat the Mustangs 53-48.
Meanwhile, Tiospaye Topa was the victim of a tough 53-29 loss at the hands of the Cardinals on Friday. Tiospaye Topa has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Dupree's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Tiospaye Topa, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
Dupree came up short against the Thunderhawks when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 98-89. Can Dupree avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
