The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cedar in their matchups with Crimson Cliffs: they've now lost four in a row.
Several Reds players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Easton Albrecht, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Landon Kreitzer, who scored 18 points.
Cedar struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Crimson Cliffs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from McKay Lindquist, who scored 25 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lindquist has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Felts, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds.
Cedar has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Crimson Cliffs, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Cedar will be playing at home against Snow Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Snow Canyon has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 281 points over their last four contests. As for Crimson Cliffs, they will head out on the road to challenge Desert Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Desert Hills is coming into the game with six straight victories at home, meaning Crimson Cliffs will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
