After a string of three wins, Hollywood Hills' good fortune finally ran out last Thursday. They fell just short of the North Miami Pioneers by a score of 48-44.
North Miami's junior Carla Jean did her thing and had 17 points along with five blocks. Junior Esther Joseph was another key contributor, picking up ten points in addition to six steals.
Hollywood Hills' overall record fell to 14-5. The win makes it two in a row for North Miami and bumps their record up to 21-4.
The Spartans will take on Blanche Ely tomorrow night. As for North Miami, they will go up against St. Thomas Aquinas. Unlike the Pioneers, St. Thomas Aquinas will be stumbling in off of a loss.
