Volleyball Recap: Juab Comes Up Short

Juab lost against Delta on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wasps came up short against the Rabbits, falling 3-0. The Wasps have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Juab took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Juab still got an impressive performance from Cairo Bradford, who had 17 digs and three assists. Bradford has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played. Kendall Heap was another key player, getting five digs and four aces.

Leading Delta to victory were Hadley Bliss and Chevy Abbott. Bliss had 14 digs and three assists, while Abbott had six digs. That's the most assists Bliss has posted over her last ten contests.

Juab's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Delta, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That lines up perfectly with their 15-5 record this season.

Juab has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Canyon View on the 2nd. As for Delta, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Carbon on the 2nd.
