Duncan is a perfect 8-0 against Patagonia since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wildkats will host the Lobos at 3:45 p.m. Duncan will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
Duncan is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let San Carlos get on the board and left with a 17-0 win on Friday. The Wildkats haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Ethan Hernandez was a major factor no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Duncan's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 4-5 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Duncan got a massive performance out of Isaac Harris, who went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Harris has become a key player for the Wildkats: the team is 7-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Taygan Jensen, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Duncan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .649. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Patagonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They fell 6-2 to Baboquivari.
Kannon Shore made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Patagonia's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Duncan, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
Everything went Duncan's way against Patagonia when the teams last played back in March, as Duncan made off with a 9-3 victory. Do the Wildkats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lobos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
