Markayla Shirley was her usual excellent self, earning 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamdyn Hurd, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Verrado's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chandler, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
