The Tonganoxie Chieftains won the last time they faced the Ottawa Cyclones, and things went their way on Friday too. Tonganoxie blew past Ottawa 40-10 on the road. The result was nothing new for Tonganoxie, who have now won three matches by 28 points or more so far this season.
Trevor McGraw looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 157 yards and two touchdowns. Colton Brusven made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Tonganoxie has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Ottawa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.
Tonganoxie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ottawa is also done with their season.
