Coronado got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lala Talolo out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 17 rebounds. Luna Dalla pozza was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
Coronado's win bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Harmony Science Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Coronado will square off against Montwood at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Montwood presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Coronado in Texas (Montwood is ranked 382nd, while Coronado is ranked 1020th). Harmony Science Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Franklin at 10:30 a.m. on December 1st. Franklin is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
