The Fultondale Wildcats are on the road again on Monday and play against the Dora Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on December 4th. Fultondale will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 304th, while Dora is ranked 128th).
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-17, which was the final score in Fultondale's tilt against Clay-Chalkville on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Dora waltzed into Friday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Cordova by a score of 53-42.
It was another big night for Bella Reese, who scored 21 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Dora's points. Another player making a difference was Lyria Meadows, who scored 11 points.
Fultondale's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Dora, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Fultondale was taken down by Dora 56-20 in their previous meeting back in February. Can Fultondale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
