While the  4-4 score might suggest a draw, it was the Grizzlies who were credited with the  win. Copper Hills got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Riverton's two. Considering Copper Hills' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
 Mountain Ridge's  victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-10. As for Copper Hills, their win  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-6.
