After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Palmetto Christian Academy, Dorchester Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Cathedral Academy Generals with a sharp 63-42 victory. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Cathedral Academy still got an impressive performance from Madison Jackson, who posted 22 points. That was a full 52.4% of Cathedral Academy's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Maura Griffin was another key player, putting up seven points.

Dorchester Academy pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Cathedral Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-18.
