Welsh won the last time they met up with Avoyelles, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Welsh steamrollered Avoyelles 57-0. With Welsh ahead 35-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already. The match brought Welsh to 3-1 and dropped Avoyelles to a mirror-image 1-3.
Next week Welsh take on Erath at 7:00 PM. Welsh will be strutting in after a win while Erath will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Avoyelles, they will face off against Northside. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
