Volleyball Recap: Hebron Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Corinne Wiley and Emerson Han

It was a good run, but Hebron unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the College Park Cavaliers.

Hebron's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Emerson Han, who had seven digs and one assist, and Corinne Wiley, who had one assist.

College Park's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Piper Jenkins led the charge by getting eight digs and three aces. That's the most digs Jenkins has posted over her last four contests. Another player making a difference was Macie Fralix, who had 13 assists and five digs.

Hebron's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for College Park, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-8.

Hebron will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Coppell at 6:30 p.m. on the 9th. The game will give the Hawks their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for College Park, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Grand Oaks on the 2nd.
