Central Dauphin East scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Central Dauphin, 21-19. At the time, the Rams were ranked ninth in the state, while the Panthers were 153rd.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Central Dauphin East, who took down ninth ranked Central Dauphin, 21-19.
Jordan Bowman was the best wideout in Mid-Penn - Commonwealth this week as Glen McNamee's team fell to George Chaump's team. Bowman tallied seven receptions for 61 yards. Drew Scales helped Central Dauphin's passing attack out by catching two balls for 42 yards.
pat irwin put up the best numbers through the air as State College lost to Cumberland Valley. He finished with a total of 11 completions for 139 yards and two touchdowns. Irwin's favorite target this week was Darian Herncane, who caught four passes for 55 yards.
Tyler Updegraff was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 101 yards on 12 carries as the Eagles fell to the Panthers. Jeremy Salmon also contributed to the rushing game with 87 yards on the ground.
Central Dauphin's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Rams feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brandon Lavia has thrown for 1287 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Bowman has 33 catches for 451 yards. Scales leads the league in rushing with 985 yards.
Harrisburg was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from third to first in Mid-Penn - Commonwealth. Earlier in the week, the Cougars triumphed over Carlisle 44-0.
