Jefferson Independent Day lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kohl Thurman, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Thurman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Renger, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Sheldon found their leader in underclassman Aiden Bogart, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 15 rebounds. Bogart hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. Aiden Ellifrits was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Jefferson Independent Day has fallen quite a ways from their 21-7 record last season and are now at 2-13. As for Sheldon, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
