San Marcos fell 28-27 to Escondido in the closest game of the week. Cory McKesson was a bright spot for the Knights, as he ran for 134 yards and caught three passes for 50 yards in the loss.
San Marcos' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Drew Olson threw for 225 and one touchdown and Trevor Waite had 93 yards receiving. Isiah Hennie helped San Marcos' passing attack out by catching four balls for 67 yards.
San Marcos' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Olson has thrown for 759 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Hennie has 12 catches for 235 yards. McKesson leads the league in rushing with 361 yards.
