Astoria/VIT had a senior duo take command as Ben Sherrod dropped a double-double on 25 points and 16 rebounds and Nic Huston scored 19 points along with 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Sherrod has scored at least 25% of Astoria/VIT's points. Kaden Foglesong was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 10 rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Biggsville West Central, who are still winless after their eighth game. They fell 43-32 to Bushnell-Prairie City on Tuesday. Biggsville West Central has struggled against Bushnell-Prairie City recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Astoria/VIT has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Biggsville West Central, they bumped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
