Normal University entered their tilt with Tri-Valley on Saturday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Pioneers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Taylor Penn paced Normal University's offense, picking up nine kills. Penn got some help from Morgan Petelin and her 17 assists. Kylie Stanton and Ava Crabtree kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Normal University's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Tri-Valley, they moved to 14-5 with that defeat, which also ended their six-match winning streak.
