The Brazosport Christian Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season. They blew past Baytown Christian 70-48. The win made it back-to-back wins for Brazosport Christian.
Leading Brazosport Christian to victory were Luke Coburn and Elijah Burris. Coburn dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Burris scored 29 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. The matchup was Burris' ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Catoe, who scored six points along with seven assists and four steals.
Brazosport Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Baytown Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Second Baptist University-Model the next time they take the court. Brazosport Christian will head out to face Second Baptist University-Model at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Baytown Christian will host them on Thursday.
