The Groton-Dunstable Crusaders will head out on the road to face off against the Blackstone-Millville Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Groton-Dunstable will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

If Leominster wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Groton-Dunstable, they should've done a better job of containing Ella Barske. The Crusaders were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Blue Devils on Thursday for which the team can thank Barske, who had seven digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 13 times she's played.
The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-8.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Blackstone-Millville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Foxborough Regional Charter on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Chargers not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 18, 2024 (when they won 3-0).
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Blackstone-Millville was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-9, 25-6.
Groton-Dunstable better keep an eye on Brenna Kotsianas. She was instrumental in Blackstone-Millville's win, getting 12 aces and one assist. Those 12 aces gave Kotsianas a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Millette, who had five aces.
Blackstone-Millville was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 37 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in four consecutive matches.
Blackstone-Millville's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Groton-Dunstable, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.
