Chasidy Stewart (OH Christian) made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those runs marked the first that she scored this season.
In other batting news, Taitum Savey (2025) was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelsey Kenney (2027), who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
Bellbrook always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oakwood only posted an OBP of .167.
