The Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS lost against the Harrison Wildcats back in November of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Madeira fell to Harrison 49-45. Madeira has not had much luck with Harrison recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Alli Robertson was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 22 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Harrison's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Piepmeier, who scored 12 points.
Madeira's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Harrison, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madeira will take on Reading at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Harrison, they will head out on the road to face off against Wyoming at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
