The Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Wednesday after their seventh straight loss. They took a  56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sarasota Christian. Saint Stephen's Episcopal was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Sarasota Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in January of 2023.
 Loss or not, Saint Stephen's Episcopal got some senior leadership from  Nick Yatros and  Cade Walters.  Yatros  scored 24 points along with six  rebounds, while  Walters.  dropped  a double-double on ten points and 16  rebounds. That was a full 50% of Saint Stephen's Episcopal's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sarasota Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Matthias Hulka, who  scored 17 points along with three  steals. Hulka has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Josh Frazzini, who  scored 15 points.
 Saint Stephen's Episcopal's defeat was  their fourth straight at home, which  bumped their record down to 3-13. As for Sarasota Christian,  the  win  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 12-5.
 Saint Stephen's Episcopal will take on Patel at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Sarasota Christian, they will take on Eagle's View at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Eagle's View knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 matchups -- so hopefully Sarasota Christian likes a good challenge.
