Softball Recap: Munday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Munday had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Northside Indians by a score of 17-13. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 7-6 win last Tuesday.

Munday picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 5-7. As for Northside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Munday will square off against Harrold at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.11 runs per game on average), something the Moguls will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Northside, they will take on Knox City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Greyhounds have now posted at least ten runs in their last eight matches.
