The Fairless Falcons lost against the Tuslaw Mustangs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Fairless fell 46-35 to Tuslaw. While losing is never fun, Fairless can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 314th, while Tuslaw is ranked 148th).
Tuslaw was led to victory by Breanna Mccabe and Destiny Dulkoski. Mccabe dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds, while Dulkoski dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. The game was Dulkoski's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Emma Rowbotham, who scored 7 points.
Fairless' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Tuslaw, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Fairless will head out on the road to face off against Triway at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Triway is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Tuslaw, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northwest at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
