Make it seven blowout wins for the Faustina Academy Falcons this season. Everything went their way against Heritage Christian Academy on Monday as Faustina Academy made off with a 45-19 victory. The victory was nothing new for Faustina Academy as they're now sitting on four straight.
Faustina Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Malia Flood out in front who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds. Flood hasn't dropped below three steals for four straight games. Grace Denny was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Sara Spangler and Addelynn Reid certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Spangler scored ten points, while Reid scored eight points.
Faustina Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Faustina Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Knights at 5:00 p.m. Lakewood Presbyterian is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
