Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Rangers are ranked 335th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Chisholm Trail, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.
