Albemarle's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Tyquan McDonald.
Albemarle's win bumped their season record to 3-5 while Union Academy's loss dropped theirs to 1-7.
Union Academy was dealt a bruising 34-0 loss at the hands of Albemarle when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Can Union Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
