The Lewisville Lions pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 64-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of McBee. That's two games in a row now that Lewisville has lost by exactly nine points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McBee to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyrek Wright, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Wright hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakari Holloman, who scored 15 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Lewisville and nudges their season record down to 11-3. As for McBee, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewisville will take on the Red Devils at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McBee, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Hornets at 7:30 p.m. C.A. Johnson has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 230 points over their last three games.
