Floyd Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nathan Rushing led the charge by scoring 16 points. Rushing hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Jaxon Stone was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
North Harrison's loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-12. As for Floyd Central, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
North Harrison and Lanesville will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lanesville is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Floyd Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jennings County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
