Sylvan-Lucas won the last time they faced Thunder Ridge and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Longhorns. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

While Sylvan-Lucas might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Thunder Ridge scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18.

Morgan Finkenbinder paced Sylvan-Lucas' offense, picking up seven kills. Finkenbinder got some help from Lily Pancost and her ten assists. Jayden Meitler controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Sylvan-Lucas' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Thunder Ridge, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Sylvan-Lucas is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Lincoln on Tuesday. As for Thunder Ridge, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Northern Valley on the 4th.
