It was another big night for Micah Kaynor, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Herald, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Lapeer Lakers Homeschool put another one in the bag back in January to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against CHASE by a score of 52-44. Given Lapeer Lakers Homeschool's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 199th, while CHASE is ranked 652nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Lapeer Lakers Homeschool's success was spearheaded by the efforts of John Hayse, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds, and Aiden Lomasney, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. It was the first time this season that Lomasney posted two or more blocks. Joshua Campbell was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven assists.
Faith Christian's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9. As for Lapeer Lakers Homeschool, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
