Fallsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight  loss. They were a single  point away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   52-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eldred Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  73-64  back in January.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eldred to victory, but perhaps none more so than   James Deyermond, who  posted 14 points along with eight  boards and six  steals. Deyermond is also on a roll when it comes to  field goal percentage, as he's  posted one of at least 50% in the last 19 games he's  played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was  Trai Kaufmann, who  earned 20  points and six  rebounds.
Fallsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Eldred, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record  this season.
 Fallsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eldred, they will look to defend their home court  on Monday against SS Seward  at 7:00  p.m.
