North Oldham took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Silver Creek, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs won by a run and slipped past the Dragons 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Dragons back in March, they had to take a 10-2 loss.

The victory got North Oldham back to even at 8-8. As for Silver Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Oldham will square off against Henry County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Silver Creek, they will face off against Austin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
