Even though the Lee Generals scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, the Central Wise Warriors still came out on top. Central Wise took down Lee 74-60. That's another feather in the cap for Central Wise, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
When it comes to explaining why Lee lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brynnen Pendergraft. Despite the final result, he scored 27 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Osteen, who scored eight points.

Central Wise is on the road again on Thursday and play against Honaker at 7:00 p.m. on January 4th. Honaker knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Central Wise likes a good challenge. As for Lee, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Gate City at 8:00 p.m. Gate City presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lee in Virginia (Gate City is ranked 185th, while Lee is ranked 398th).
