Volleyball Recap: Oswego Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Oswego, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Southern Coffey County Titans by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Oswego was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-5.

Autumn Neblett paced Oswego's offense, picking up six kills. Neblett got some help from Kodi Trimble and her seven assists. Trimble was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Oswego's win bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Southern Coffey County, they dropped their record down to 1-26 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Oswego will venture away from home to take on Frontenac on Saturday. As for Southern Coffey County, they will head out to challenge Erie on Tuesday.
