Bothell has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the North Creek Jaguars at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Bothell's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last ten matches.
Bothell pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Woodinville at home by a decisive 75-59 margin. While losing is never fun, Bothell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 218th, while Woodinville is ranked 55th).
Despite their defeat, Bothell saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Bryson Bell, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and two steals, was perhaps the best of all. Jarell Fermon was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, North Creek pushed their score all the way to 64 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 75-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bellevue.
Bothell has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for North Creek, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7.
Bothell came up short against North Creek in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 70-64. Can Bothell avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
