Meanwhile, Pieper waltzed into Saturday's matchup with ten straight wins but they left with 11. They walked away with a 53-46 win over Alamo Heights.
Pieper's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jake South led the charge by throwing for 368 yards and six touchdowns. South is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was John Hamilton, who gained 139 total yards and four touchdowns.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Pieper's defensive line and their four sacks. Leading the way was Kaden Glass and his three sacks.
Liberty Hill is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Pieper, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.
