The Corinth Holders Pirates fought the good fight in their overtime match against the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 14-13 to the Bulldogs. Corinth Holders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
David Jarman threw for 100 yards and two touchdowns. Jeremiah Heffron was his top target, picking up 57 receiving yards and no touchdowns. On the ground, Jeriah White rushed for 29 yards.
Corinth Holders' defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Southeast Raleigh, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
Corinth Holders will be playing at home against Garner at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southeast Raleigh, they will head out on the road to face off against South Garner at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. South Garner is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
