Sedan had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt West Elk on Monday. The Devils blew past the Patriots 11-1. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Devils this season.

Sedan pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for West Elk, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3-2.
