While South Central put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for South Lenoir. The Falcons put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 15-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won six in a row.

Ava Coward was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2025. Aurora Edwards was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.

South Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .345 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

South Central's record now sits at 3-0. As for South Lenoir, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

South Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-3 win against Perquimans County on the 10th. As for South Lenoir, they have also already played their next matchup, a 15-3 victory against North Lenoir on the 10th.
