East Hamilton hasn't had much luck against Bradley Central recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Hurricanes will look to defend their home field against the Bears at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bradley Central will be up against a hot East Hamilton team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. The Hurricanes were the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over Howard Tech on Thursday. With that victory, the Hurricanes brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Peyton Hunter was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Mason Wolcott was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Miguel Fernandez, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.
East Hamilton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .675. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Howard Tech only posted an OBP of .286.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last matchup, Bradley Central made sure to put some runs up on the board against Ooltewah on Thursday. The Bears put the hurt on the Owls with a sharp 11-1 win.
Bradley Central also got a great performance from Drake Allen as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jaxon Humble, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI. He has become a key player for Bradley Central: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three hits, but 7-9-1 otherwise. Bronson Stone was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.
East Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Bradley Central, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10-1.
East Hamilton's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's game. The Hurricanes have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.2 stolen bases per game.
