The North Paulding Wolfpack are on the road again on Thursday and play against the Central Lions at 6:00 p.m. on December 28th. North Paulding will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 470th, while Central is ranked 31st).
Last Saturday, North Paulding took a serious blow against Cartersville, falling 80-48.
Meanwhile, Central put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Hampton 57-37. Considering Central has won five contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Khaven Cochran was his usual excellent self, scoring 12 points along with four steals. Cochran is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Zekyle Amir, who scored four points along with ten rebounds and four blocks.
North Paulding has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Central, they pushed their record up to 10-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
