Nathan McDaniel gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. He has become a key player for Kerr-Vance Academy: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 2-7 otherwise.
